Ben is a Licensed Professional Counselor. After graduating from Carthage High School in 1996, he completed his Social Studies Education Degree at Anderson University in 2001.

He was a Social Studies teacher in Carthage and Diamond for the next 7 years while earning his Master’s of Arts in School Counseling from Pittsburg State University in 2008.

After some time as a school counselor at Central School in Columbus, Kansas, he headed to Carl Junction Junior High where he has spent the last 15 years.

Ben has been at College Skyline since 2021, works with adults, and has a true heart for teens.

He is a family man, and thankful for the blessings and opportunities God has bestowed on him.

Fun Fact: Ben has discovered a love for doing Lego sets with his kids!
